From the humble stable to the definitive Classic Kitchen
​Nestled within an elegant barn conversion, this kitchen began its journey in what was once a functional stable. The space had undergone an earlier conversion, but our task was to reimagine it entirely in order to better suit the client’s lifestyle and unlock the room’s full potential..
When we first visited the property, the kitchen felt surprisingly constrained. Despite its generous footprint, a partition wall divided the space, leaving it cramped and depriving it of natural light. Working closely with the talented Pippa from @lawler_design, whose work we highly recommend, we set out to create a kitchen that would seamlessly blend tradition with modern luxury.

'Our first priority was to open up the space and let the light pour in'
By removing the partition and relocating the utility area, we made way for the third set of patio doors to flood the room with light. This transformation not only showcased the dramatic vaulted ceilings but also maintained the subtle charm of the barn’s architecture. The utility space, while now open, is cleverly tucked away to ensure practicality without detracting from the room’s graceful design.
Our cabinetry embodies a fresh, contemporary twist on the classic Shaker style, striking a perfect balance between timeless charm and modern sophistication. Beaded face frames, a hallmark of this design, crisply outline the doors and drawers, adding definition with their sharp, precise pin lines.
Crafted from premium birch plywood, the cabinets are designed to last a lifetime, providing exceptional strength and durability. They offer the perfect marriage of beauty and functionality, ensuring they not only look stunning but also withstand the demands of everyday living.

An aspiration we brought to life through thoughtful design. A key part of this is the luxurious double pantry. It offers abundant storage, as well as forming a second centre piece to the
room. It effortlessly accommodates small appliances and essentials and is mounted directly on the work surface to simplify use and cleaning maintaining a seamless, organised flow.

The range surround is another standout feature, combining aesthetic appeal with clever utility.
